Meet Christopher Tilman - Vote June 11, 2024

Christopher Tilman is happy to announce that he is running for Justice of the Peace in Boulder City, Nevada. He is a lifelong resident, BCHS graduate and legal expert, bringing unmatched commitment to our community. He has been licensed in Nevada since 1993 and has been a sole practitioner since 1998 in both family law and criminal defense.  He has also been court appointed to indigent parents for CPS actions for 25 years and he has been court appointed to indigent criminal defendants for 31 years.  Additionally, for the last 5 years, he has served as the defense attorney for the “Breaking The Cycle” in Boulder City Municipal Drug Court.  This is a program which he is passionate about. As a third generation local, he intimately understands our needs. With decades of dedicated legal practice, Christopher ensures fairness, integrity, and a deep community connection on the bench. 

As a proud native, his roots run deep in Boulder City.  His grandfather Lee, was an original 31er who built the Hoover Dam, and worked at the dam as an electrician until his retirement. His grandparents Lee and Noma helped found St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Boulder City. Christopher’s father and his five siblings were raised in Boulder City. His father Tim was a Boulder City Councilman in the 1980s. Christopher and his brother Brandon were raised in Boulder City and graduated from Boulder City High School. Christopher and his wife Devon have raised their three children in Boulder City and are very proud to call our little town home.
